Ready to keep an eye on the garden?
Tap a burrow or press 1–9 while focused inside the game board. Each catch earns 10 points. Empty taps and escaped moles each count as a miss.
Switching windows or tabs pauses the game. Refreshing resets your game.
How to play
Choose a 30- or 60-second round and an Easygoing or Quick pace. Select Start game and tap the burrow containing a mole. The number on each burrow is its keyboard shortcut when focus is inside the board.
Use Pause for a break and Resume to continue with the remaining time. Restart begins a fresh round. Duration and pace can be changed before starting or after a round ends.
Rules and scoring
- Only one mole appears at a time. Each new appearance uses a different burrow from the previous one.
- Catching a mole earns 10 points and removes it immediately.
- An empty tap or an uncaught mole that disappears adds one miss. Misses never subtract points.
- Easygoing gives about 1 second per appearance; Quick gives about 0.65 seconds.
- The round ends when the countdown reaches zero. Further taps cannot change the score.
Example
Catch 8 moles to earn 80 points. If 2 moles escape and you tap an empty burrow once, the result shows 8 hits and 3 misses.
Local play
The game automatically pauses when you switch windows or tabs. It runs in your browser without saving your scores. Refreshing the page resets everything.

How is the score calculated?
Each catch earns 10 points. Each appearance can score only once. Empty taps and escaped moles count as misses but do not subtract points.
Can I use the keyboard?
Yes. Start the game or focus inside the board, then use keys 1–9 for the numbered burrows. Touch and mouse clicks also work.
Does the timer stop when I leave the tab?
Yes. Switching windows or hiding the tab automatically pauses the game. Choose Resume to continue. Refreshing clears the game.
