What it does
Turn paper into a PDF with your phone or laptop camera instead of a scanner. Shoot pages with the camera or add photos you already took, and each becomes a page in the list. For each page, drag four corners onto the page edges to straighten a slanted photo, rotate it, adjust brightness and contrast or make it black and white, then save everything as one PDF. Handy for receipts, contracts, homework and handwritten notes.
How to use
- Press Turn camera on, fit the whole page in the frame and press Take photo. Or use Add photos (JPG, PNG, WebP).
- Pick a page in the list to edit it. Drag the four blue points onto the corners of the document; the preview on the right straightens. A focused point also moves with the arrow keys.
- Rotate if needed, choose Colour (original, grayscale, black & white document) and set brightness and contrast. Apply to all pages copies the adjustment to every page.
- Reorder pages with ← →, remove unwanted ones with ×.
- Choose the paper (A4, Letter or the photo’s own shape) and margin, then press Make PDF.
How it works
- Perspective correction: the quad set by the four corners is mapped to a rectangle with a projective transform (homography); every output pixel is sampled back from the photo with bilinear interpolation, so there are no gaps. The output size follows the longer of each pair of opposite edges.
- Colour: brightness −100 to 100 (adds the value × 2.55), contrast uses the common 259-based contrast formula. Grayscale uses ITU-R BT.601 weights (0.299, 0.587, 0.114); black & white thresholds the gray image at Otsu’s level.
- Paper: A4 and Letter turn to match the photo’s orientation and centre it inside the margins, keeping its proportions. “Same shape as the photo” makes an A4-wide page with the photo’s aspect ratio.
- Quality: pages are stored at up to 2400 pixels on the long edge as JPEG at 85% quality.
- Camera: uses the browser camera API (getUserMedia), preferring the rear camera; the video is never recorded.
- Not included: automatic corner detection and text recognition (OCR). Convert HEIC photos with HEIC to JPG first.

| Form with a coloured stamp | Corners + Original colour, brightness +10 |
| A pile of receipts | Same shape as the photo + Grayscale |
| Handwritten notes | Black & white document, contrast +20 |
To combine the result with other files, use Merge PDF; to make it smaller, use Compress PDF.
FAQ
Are my photos or the camera video uploaded?
No. The camera image is only shown on this device, and capturing, adjusting and building the PDF all happen in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
Can it straighten a document photographed at an angle?
Yes. Drag the four corner points onto the corners of the page and the area is stretched into a rectangle (perspective correction). Corners are not detected automatically, so place them yourself.
How is "Black & white document" different from grayscale?
Grayscale only removes colour. Black & white finds, for each page, the brightness level that best separates ink from paper (Otsu's method) and keeps only black and white, so shadows and yellowed paper disappear and text gets crisp.
The camera does not start.
Allow camera access when the browser asks. If you already denied it, allow the camera in the address bar's site settings. Without a camera, take photos with your phone's camera app and use "Add photos".
How many pages can one PDF have?
Up to 100. Photos are stored at 2400 pixels on the long edge (about an A4 page scanned at 200 dpi), which keeps memory use reasonable.
