How to play
Choose a column to drop a disc into its lowest empty space. Connect four of your color horizontally, vertically or diagonally to win.
Use left/right arrows on the column buttons, then Enter or Space to drop. On a phone, tap any column.
Changing mode or difficulty starts a new game. Against the computer, Undo takes back your last move and the computer response together.About the game
Drop colored discs into a vertical board and connect four before your opponent. Gravity matters: a disc lands on the lowest empty space in its column. Coral starts, and the computer plays Gold.
How to play
- Choose Vs computer or Two players.
- Select Casual or Strategic computer difficulty.
- Tap a column button or any space in the desired column.
- Build your own line while blocking your opponent’s threats.
- Use Undo turn to reconsider a move or New game to start over.
Rules and limitations
- The board has 42 spaces arranged in seven columns and six rows. Full columns cannot accept a disc.
- Four connected discs end the round immediately. The computer searches a limited number of moves and is not guaranteed to play perfectly.
- Changing mode or difficulty starts a new round. Reloading clears the game.
- On the column controls, use left/right arrows followed by Enter or Space.
Example
If your opponent has three discs along the bottom in columns 1, 2 and 3, block column 4. Center columns give you more opportunities to build horizontal and diagonal lines.
FAQ
How do I win?
Take turns dropping discs into a seven-column, six-row board. Connect at least four of your color horizontally, vertically or diagonally. A full board without a winner is a draw.
Can two people play?
Choose Two players to take turns on the same device. Online multiplayer and accounts are not included.
What does Undo do against the computer?
Undo returns to the position before your last move, including the computer response. You can also undo while the computer is thinking.
